Michael has over 20 years in IT management, ranging from service desk to leadership roles. With these varied roles, he brings technological, project management, and organizational experience to the board. He has 2 children on the Autism spectrum that are currently enrolled.

Rachel Deaton is the Director of Training and Legislation with the Autism Society of Indiana. She has worked with ASI for six years. She is on the school board for Dynamic Minds Academy, an autism charter school in Indianapolis. She is also a speaker with the Indiana Speakers Bureau. Most of her knowledge in the area of autism comes from raising a child on the Autism Spectrum.
Amanda is currently an educator at Noblesville School. She has been a middle school social studies teacher for 21 years. As a public school educator she has had experience with many neurotypical and neurodivergent students, Individualized Education Plans, special education professionals, occupational therapists and child psychologists. Amanda is currently an educator at Noblesville School. She has been a middle school social studies teacher for 21 years. As a public school educator she has had experience with many neurotypical and neurodivergent students, Individualized Education Plans, special education professionals, occupational therapists and child psychologists. She has four children, two of which are on the autism spectrum.
Blair Dawson is currently a special education resource teacher in Franklin Township. She has been teaching for 19 years. Although she is a resource teacher now, most of her teaching experience has been working with students that have moderate/severe disabilities, and in all levels of the autism spectrum. Blair looks forward to bringing her experiences as an educator to support DMA.
Katie is currently serving as the Director of Response to Intervention and Special Services at a local private school. She has 18 years of experience in special education, including ABA therapy. With her background in education, she brings experience in analyzing school performance data and an understanding of best practices within educational leadership.
The Board of Directors meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm in The Hope Source Café unless otherwise specified.
